The department is steered by the Deputy Director of Studies, Mr. Eric Ochieng with the help of focused members like;

Examination Office runs various programs revolving around preparation of exams, sitting for the examinations, analysis and management of examination data bank for every student. Our internal examinations are named Cycles.
Teachers prepare examinations, administer, invigilate and mark every student’s script, then upload their results to our cloud exam analysis and communication system, the Zeraki analytics. Thereafter, the results are analyzed and published so that they are accessible to all the teachers and parents of Bishop Okoth Girls Mbaga.
It has been our routine that form one, two and form three do three cycles in a term, at the end, the three exams are consolidated to evaluate their progress for the term. With our new system, parents are able to access the true student’s results from everywhere they are without necessarily coming to school; this therefore enables them to do immediate follow up with the school upon noticing any unpleasing trend in their daughter’s performance as soon as the results are published.
Other than the internal examinations, the department is also responsible for the registration of candidates for the Kenya National Examination, the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education and in cooperation with the careers department, guide students on KUCCPs registration and revision for their Academic programs should they fail to attain what they applied for.
